Bedeutender Auftrag für Ascom Security Communication

Ascom Security Communication hat sich in einem Konsortium zusammen mit dem israelischen Unternehmen Eurocom einen bedeutenden Auftrag der Israel Railways (ISR) gesichert. Die Auftragssumme für das Gesamtprojekt beläuft sich auf CHF 22,5 Mio.; der Anteil von Ascom liegt im mittleren einstelligen Millionenbereich.

Basierend auf der "NIS-Rail"-Kommunikationstechnologie von Ascom beliefert das Konsortium Ascom/Eurocom Israel Railways mit einem neuen, modernen Passagierinformationssystem. Der Konsortiumpartner Eurocom Data Communications (EDC) ist eines der grössten privaten Kommunikationsunternehmen Israels und ein Ascom Partner mit Potenzial für weitere Geschäfte.

Das Projekt umfasst die schlüsselfertige Lieferung der gesamten IT-Infrastruktur und Software sowie die Installation und Inbetriebnahme, einschliesslich der Montage eines neuen Informationssystems für die Bahnhöfe. Ascom ist mit einem mittleren einstelligen Millionenbetrag an diesem Projekt beteiligt, dessen Gesamtwert sich in den nächsten fünf Jahren auf CHF  22,5Mio. belaufen wird.

Ascom NIS ist ein benutzerfreundliches, IP-gestütztes Notruf- und Informationssystem, das die Basis für Betriebstelekommunikation und Informationssysteme für Bahnbetreiber bildet. NIS ist kundenfreundlich konfiguriert und bietet eine breite Palette an Kommunikations- und Sicherheitsanwendungen.
